Before and After

Detox Pads

This will sound wild and wacky to most of you, and I have to admit, I was skeptical too.  When I first came across the idea of wearing a foot pad while I slept that was reported to remove toxins from my body, I thought it was too good to be true.

Yes, I am almost embarrassed to admit it, but you reach a point where you will try almost anything.  After having seen the way these pads work, I do think they are worth further investigation.  Several of the practitioners that I have worked with have indicated that they believe that these pads can be helpful.

The pads are reported to remove a number of harmful substances from the body including mercury, copper, aluminum (a potential cause of Alzheimer's), PCBs, cadmium, arsenic, and more.  The pads are applied on the feet and night and worn while you sleep.

The pads contain bamboo, vinegar, and other ingredients which are reported by the manufacturer to help the body detoxify.  I have tried several varieties of the pads and the ones I am most excited about are:

GoldMiracle PatchesGold Edition TRMX2i - Wood Vinegar extract, Bamboo Vinegar extract, Chitin and Chitosan, Loquat Leaf, Dokudami, Vitamin C, Vegetable Fiber, Tourmaline, Dextrin.

Green Edition KX2i - Wood Vinegar extract, Bamboo Vinegar extract, Chitin and Chitosan, Loquat Leaf, Dokudami, Vitamin C, Vegetable Fiber, Tourmaline, Amethyst, Dextrin.

Being logically minded, I wanted to prove to myself that these pads could not possibly work.  On the first day I tried them, I also enlisted the help of a friend to do the same.  The next day, both pads were black, gooey, and dirty looking.  After about 25 patches, mine began to lighten until they ultimately were almost white.  At this time, I had the same person reapply the pad and the next day, the pad was as black as it had been weeks earlier.

I became more convinced that there was some science behind this when I read Kenrico's latest book Miracle Patches.  Feel free to review the details yourself and come to your own conclusion.  What may be right for me may not be right for others.

I originally ordered pads from two different suppliers where the cost was up to $2.79 or more per patch.  The company I currently get my pads from gets the cost down to about 90 cents per patch.

I sent my used pad for testing and the test results Detox Pad Testshowed that the pads were extracting benzene, isopropyl alcohol, mercury, aluminum, PCBs, asbestos and more.   Though these results are determined using energetic testing techniques, I was excited to see that it appeared that the patches may be doing something.

The company that I use is HealthMarvels.  HealthMarvels gets their pads direct from Kenrico, LTD. in Japan.  This is reported to be the same supplier of many of the pads sold in the US under different names.   Here is a video that talks about the product.  Also, if you want more information, visit the Kenrico Message BoardRead much more about detox pads from the manufacturer in Japan.

The pads are applied to the soles of the feet while you sleep.  It was recommended to me to start with one pad per foot for at least 1-2 weeks and then reduce to one foot and then after a few weeks, reduce to 2-3 times per week.

When attempting to determine how well the pads work for your own use, judge them based on how they make you feel.  As I had used several different brands and types before settling on these particular pads, I have seen that variations in color of the pads after use can be related to the ingredients in the pad in addition to what the pads may actually extract.

There have been many suggestions recently that detox foot pads do not do what they claim to do.   I recently spoke with Dietrich Klinghardt. MD, PhD on the topic of the detox pads.  You can find our conversation here .

BetterHealthGuy.com does not sell detox foot pads.  The company that I personally use is HealthMarvels.
